Amaie Energia e Servizi is a limited liability company wholly owned by local authorities, subject to the management and coordination of the Municipality of Sanremo and operating under the joint control of its shareholders, in line with the “in-house providing” model.
Amaie Energia e Servizi is responsible for the urban waste management service in the 18 towns of the Sanremo Basin: Sanremo, Taggia, Badalucco, Montalto Carpasio, Molini di Triora, Triora, Ceriana, Bajardo, Castellaro, Riva Ligure, Santo Stefano al Mare, Pompeiana, Terzorio, San Lorenzo al Mare, Cipressa, Costarainera, Civezza and Pietrabruna.
The basin covers an area of about 362.42 square kilometres, with a total resident population of around 83,000. Amaie Energia e Servizi manages its organisation and assets (human resources, networks, facilities, equipment, public property and contributions) under the supervision of the public administration (local authorities and basin authorities).
The company’s policy commits the entire organisation to providing services in line with the principles of equality, continuity, objectivity, fairness and impartiality, and in full compliance with sector regulations, environmental and safety legislation, and the contractual obligations set out in the Concession Service Contracts.
