AMAIE Energia e Servizi recently hosted an operational testing session of an electric street sweeper in Sanremo.
Testing across different urban contexts
The trial involved several areas of the city, including the town centre, the seafront and zones with more complex road layouts. The aim was to assess the vehicle’s effectiveness in real conditions, evaluating its performance both on main roads and in narrower spaces such as alleys and cycle paths. Thanks to its compact size and manoeuvrability, the sweeper proved capable of adapting well even to articulated urban environments, enabling targeted and continuous operations.
Electric technology and sustainability
The tested vehicle is fully electric, with zero emissions and low noise impact, making it particularly suitable for urban use.
A path towards service innovation
This activity is part of an ongoing process of updating and improving urban hygiene services, with the aim of identifying increasingly efficient and sustainable solutions for the area. The test provided a valuable opportunity to evaluate new technologies applied to street cleaning, in line with the needs of a complex and dynamic city like Sanremo.
