AMAIE Energia e Servizi is launching the final phase of the PNRR project (M2C1.1.11.1 – Line A), aimed at enhancing separated waste collection through the installation of Ecoisole (digitally controlled waste collection units).
Following the interventions completed in the towns of Pietrabruna, Civezza, Badalucco and Taggia, AMAIE will start, from 15 December 2025 to 31 May 2026, the installation of the new Ecoisole in Sanremo, Terzorio and Santo Stefano al Mare.
Installation in Sanremo: starting from the most populated areas
Starting from the week before the Christmas holidays, AMAIE will proceed according to a structured and progressive schedule. The installation will begin in the most densely populated areas, and will later extend to suburban zones. The first phase will involve residential users.Subsequently, before summer, AMAIE will operate in the central areas and nightlife districts, also extending the service to non-residential users.
Targeted communication to citizens
The installation activities will be supported by a dedicated communication plan to inform citizens on how to use the new equipment. Communication will include:
- updates via the Junker app,
- the AMAIE website and social media channels,
- targeted information materials, leaflets and flyers delivered directly to affected users.
Innovation and sustainability
The new Ecoisole will enable 24/7 waste disposal, with full traceability, promoting a more efficient and higher-quality separated waste collection. The project represents a significant step forward towards more sustainable and efficient waste management, in line with national environmental objectives.
Continuous updates
Progress in the installation of Ecoisole will be communicated step by step directly on this page, which will be constantly updated with dates, locations and operational instructions. To stay informed about the progress of the project and the use of the new equipment, citizens can also follow AMAIE on social media (Facebook and Instagram).
