AMAIE Energia e Servizi continues its plan to innovate the separate waste collection system across the municipal area. The project includes the installation of smart Ecoisole. AMAIE Energia e Servizi confirms that the repositioning of the Ecoisole centro Sanremo has been completed. These stations are dedicated to separate waste collection. The intervention concerns the area between Piazza Cesare Battisti and Rondò Garibaldi. It is part of the reorganisation of the urban hygiene service in the city centre. AMAIE Energia e Servizi aims to improve access to the stations. It also optimises waste disposal routes and makes urban waste management more efficient.
Service active after installation and testing
The new stations will enter service after installation and testing operations are completed, scheduled for Monday, 20 July. Users involved will be able to use the Ecoisole to dispose of different waste fractions. This service will follow the same procedures already tested in previous areas. At first, access will be free. Users will need to press the structure’s wake-up button. Then, they will open the correct door to dispose of the waste. From the end of summer, the Ecoisole will open only with the card assigned to the authorised TARI user.
Access card, information flyer and station map
AMAIE Energia e Servizi will deliver the card directly to the TARI user’s address. The envelope will display the AES and Municipality of Sanremo logos. It will also include an information flyer and a map. The material will explain how to use the equipment. It will also show the correct rules for separate waste collection and the location of the different Ecoisole.
Door-to-door collection and Ecoisole active during summer
Throughout the summer, the door-to-door collection system will remain active. At the same time, users will be able to use the new smart Ecoisole system. This phase will help users gradually adapt to the new service. AMAIE Energia e Servizi will support the activation with dedicated information.
